Anyone use the California Duster to take the dust off that accumulates in the garage or from driving on dry roads? Does it not scratch the paint as they advertise?

I used to use one until I got my fancy paint, it worked great. Now it leaves streaks behind, though, so I only use Meguiar's detailing spray and I wipe it (and the dust) off with microfiber cloths. Much, much nicer and it really doesn't take all that long if you keep the car reasonably clean.

My 3¢ worth.

I've never used a California Duster, just used the detail spray and real soft terry cloth towels. My wife about shot me for cutting up an $18.00 bath towel for the "Car" Big Grin

I used to wipe down my Mopar with one just before I'd enter a show. Worked real good and fast and didn't hurt the paint at all.

I have one for each vehicle, but like all good inventions, they need to be upgraded now and then. So, for my money, once a year it's a good idea to rid yourself of the dirt build up and buy a new one.

I can't believe you guys actually wash your TC's.

I never used one. I have used the detailing spray once(it worked great) but for my POS it was usually here it is, take it or leave it. Most people never looked at it anyway unless it was under the hood. May she R.I.Pieces.
NO TC and NO headaches.
