C3 Auto trans question

Last time I had the bird running when it hit boost it blew tranny fluid out everywhere. I am guessing the boost blew the diaphram in the modulator and is causing this... sound right? Should there be a one way check valve in the vac line going to the C3 trans to keep pressure off the modulator under boost? Also is it supposed to plug in on the upper intake vac tree?

Installing a new fuel pump this morning hope it runs!

Thanks,
Mike

The modulator(if having the correct one) should be able to handle the boost no problem.

I've never had a one way check valve and ran my TC to 24psi no problems Big Grin

I think you would blow your trans having a one way check valve, your valve body would have no way to release the air when needed.

If you need any parts for your auto let me know, I can ship any thing you need for that Big Grin

Thanks for the info I got a new modulator for the C3 today. Spent the day fighting with the fuel pump change...still not running!
