Broken rocker arm?

hey guys, i got a terrible problem.....i think that either my valve is stuck open/closed, or i have a broken rocker arm. Im starting to think the rocker arm is broken becuase the faster the engine turns, the louder and faster the knocking sound is. Pulled codes with shawn not too long ago, and have fixed everything that came up, but i still have this valve train problem....shawn is coming over tomorrow with a compression tester, and im going to pull the VC off in order to check the rocker assy. has anyone else had a problem similar to this? the car has no power below 3krpm, and then the boost goes from like 2 to 19psi as soon as it hits 3krpm....theres no backfire, no oil/water mix, and when i idle the car, i dont get the excessive heat that you would get from a cracked block, and like i said, the knocking/clicking sound is coming from either the 3rd or 4th cyl, and its coming from the head/top of the block...does anyone make a set of stronger rocker arms/valve springs for the 2.3, and if so prices please.....

Well, if i beat you when i was stock, what would happen now?
left right left...the perfect shift...maybe i should call cadience when i bang the gears....

I'm doubtin' you broke a rocker, would surely have have fallen off and there would be no noise. Sounds more like a wiped cam(will need new rockers) or maybe a sticking valve.

pulled the valve cover today, and found out that the cam is fine and none of the rocker arms are broken. Im starting to belive i droped a valve, but i need to do a compression test first to find out. I have heard that if the valve is not completely down, you can blow compressed air in the cyl. to re-seat the valve. But this was coming from my buddy with a grand national, so im not shure if the principals are the same here....

If the springs are all still in place and the same height when the valves are closed(you'll need to rotate the engine to verify), then you likely have a internal engine problem.
