Well,

After spending more time than I care to admit in trying to make this deal go through, seller and I finally came upon an argeement. For $800, I now own another 3 TC's. I previously mentioned this, and several people pointed out that they may not be worth what the seller was asking. Upon inspection, they weren't. I'm not saying they're worthless, just worth a lot less that he though. The plan is to strip out the 87 auto, and the 88 5 speed(neither have titles) When that's done, we'll pull the 88 auto (with title) into the driveway and evaluate it. It may wind up a 5speed driver.
I get to keep a few choice pieces, but the rest will be put up for sale once the decision is made on the 88 auto.
Dragging them down here will be an adventure. 110 miles one way from home, towed on a dolly behind the family mini-van. How do we get ourselves into these things anyway? I'll keep you updated on parts availability.
88TC 5speed, 160,000+, ranger roller, Evergreen T3, cone filter, manual boost controller.
One parts car still waiting to be taken apart.
Waiting in the garage: SC throttle body, SC intercooler, graphic equalizer, among other things.

I was just cleaning out my storage shed the other day and came across some parts that I had stuck away years ago... (plus a recent spent turbo I yanked off my car). I decided to just slap the parts on ebay for the heck of it and made over $200. 3 whole cars for $800? I'd say you got a good deal.

Got the first one home tonight. Single handed, the most digusting car I've ever paid for. I'm removing the engine, front sheetmetal, rear-end, passenger side taillight, and exterior trim, and I might sawsall the roof panel off for the sunroof. Car interior is completely beyond salvage. I'm seriously rethinking ever purchasing cars from a pasture again. Of course, leaving a door off doesn't help again. I truly expect the junkman to never talk to me again after he picks this one up. Can you say animal waste? Thankfully the seller kept the 5speed car closed up.
As far as towing goes, the mini-van got 19mpg round trip. And I did lock out overdrive, except for a 10 mile stretch after the gas station when I forgot. Going after the 5speed car next weekend. I'm also going to borrow my brother in laws truck. It's only a six cylider, full size Chevy, but it is built for towing more than the van. After today, I don't think I'll use the van for car retrieval again. Simply to nessacary on a daily basis to risk it. Also, the tow dolly cost me a case of beer to rent from a friend, so that was a bonus.
My wife will not even go look at this car after I told her it was so disgusting. This one will be gone by the end of the week, because if my neighbors see, they'll fread. At least the other two aren't so disgusting that I won't put them in the driveway.
More updates to come.
