I have just converted my 88 to 5 lug using sn 95 parts. I now need to bleed my rear brakes , but my abs in inoperable. Can I still bleed them without working abs ?

I don't think your ABS being inoperable will prevent you from bleeding them. My ABS doesn't work either (reason in my sig) but I can bleed my brakes and they work fine.

My abs worked before I did the five lug. I have only disconnected the wheel sensors. But was afraid the abs pump wouldn't work since the sensors were unhooked. The car is still on jack stands, as I haven't had time to even try bleeding them. Thank you for your response

Assuming the pump still works so it should be pretty effortless to bleed the rear brakes.

Get a handheld vacuum pump at Harbor Freight ($25) and connect it to the bleeder screw on the calipers. Pull fluid until there are no bubbles.

You'll be able to bleed them just like normal, the ABS not working won't affect that process at all. I did the same 5 lug swap and no problems.
An interesting bit of information on ABS, the SN95 ABS system is completely stand alone needing only power and signals from the sensors. I plan to convert my car to vacuum and I'm going to try to work the SN95 ABS into the system since all my brakes are now SN95.

If the pump works on a '87-88 TC, you don't need a vacuum pump for the rear brakes. Turn the ignition on, have someone hold the pedal down and open the valve. It pumps itself.
Front brakes you can use the vacuum pump on.
Please do a search in the FAQ section here. There's great procedures for most everything on the car.
