Brake Pads

Well, since it appears that no one is coming out with"dustless" brake pads in the unforseeable future and I ned to replace my fronts, can anybody recommend a particular brand (Bendix, Raybestos, etc.) that might emit less dust than the other? I can't remember what I presently have on the fronts but it looks like a coal mine after a brief period of driving time.
Thanks,

I wonder if you couldn't cut a vertical slot or two in the center of the pads ? Or is this a bad idea guys ?

Cutting a slot across the width of the pad is a good idea if the pads you buy don't already have it. It will help vet the gas that is created during braking. As for pads, I have been told to stay away from the raybestos Lifetime pads as they are very hard on rotors, and as expensive as they are for our cars you really want rotor friendly pads. If your car sits a lot like mine does you will also want to stay away from pads with a high metal content as they will rust on the rotors very quickly.

Try: www.spmotorsports.com or www.ebc-brakes.com. Both of these sites offer pads for the TC with low dusting. I hope this helps.

I used these before I got my new wheels. They work great. They don't allow any brake dust through.
