Brake lights

Ok finally have car running and she is doing pretty good. Issue, with brake ights. Thinking it is in the turn signal switch but want to get some mroe feedback first. turn signals work, 4 way flashers work, Third brake light works but no rear brake lights from tail lights. Putting foot on brake pedal does not stop 4 way from continuous flashing. Looked in book for wiring diagram none that I found. Let me know what ya'll think or a schematic for the whole brake light wiring would be great.

Check the brake light switch itself. It is down by the pedal , you may have to stand on your head to see it. I have had two t-birds where one of the wires brok off of the switch. It's an easy repair but hard to get to. Good luck.

^^^ If the third brake light works, the brake switch is not the problem.

I agree with the MFS being bad.

finally found the diagram think it is in my trun signal assy will get a chance after the rain passes and look at it.

Silly me. I missed that the third brake light works.

ok still having an issue with brake lights. Have power to brake light switch but not to MFS. Traced wires as far as I could. ( being Upside down Doesn't help me ha) Anyway traced wires into dash got power going from brake pedal into wiring but want to see where it ends up so I don't have to open dash to follow it. Wires from MFS go to connector on fuse box then turn to
dark green and go into harness on other side. If it comes down to it I will just jump wires together from pedal to MFS and bypass the rest of it. Don't want to but .....
