Brake Light problem

I have a 1988 TB Turbo Coupe.
I have problem with rear brake light. It don't work at all but the third brake light works fine all the turn signals , flasher and parking lights works fine. I had wired from third brake light to rear light and it will work but it affects the turn signal so what could be wrong with it? Brake switch has been replaced, is there another switch to separate these two the third and rear brake lights?

The transition is in the MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH. It is used to cross over from signals to brake lights. Wiring for the Third light comes directly from the brake light switch, The T Bird uses both stop and signal filiments so they have to be Phased out to work correctly. Their is no seperate signal bulb in the COUPE. If you jump the third light the signals wont work correctly. Replace the multi function switch. And wire in a slave RELAY to protect it. Hope this helps

The switch controlls the cross over from blinkers to stoplights when turning. Hope this helps.

The turn signal switch is the multifunction switch.
