Well today's drive home was interesting needless to say! I was about halfway home when both my ABS and ebrake light came on. I figured the relay was just acting up again and I still had brakes. I made a stop off to look at fuel guages. When I turned my car back on I had no power brakes. I shut it off and tapped the relay, got the booster going agin but still had both lights on. Stopped again at dairy queen for some burgers, started back up no booster again. Tried tapping the relay, inpecting wires, etc. etc. Ended up driving the rest of the way home with no power brakes.
This is the worst possible time for this to happen since the ford dealers are all closed. I have to drive to work tomorrow somehow and I'm supposed to be moving tomorrow afternoon.
Can anyone give me a suggestion on what to do here? anyway for me to jumper the booster power? just to test to make sure the relay is what failed? Any ideas/input/help would be greatly appreciated guys. Can I use just like a 30a relay temporarily atleast to get me to a ford dealer that has a relay in stock??
