bought another bird...

figured i'd give y'all a sneak peak at the next project. bought myself an 88 turbo coupe. all stock, kinda rough. doesnt run, guy says it needs a fuel pump. i didnt even try to mess with it yet, ive gotta get a battery for it. it's got some rust around the doors, above the wheel wells, etc. the interior is okay, the dash is cracked pretty bad and both arm rests are junk, but the tan cloth seats looked decent.

Looks like a good project. I have a few interior trim pieces for a sandalwood car if you need them give me a holler.

Looks a little rusty around the edges, but anything can be brought back if you want it enough. You fixing this one up, or is this just for parts?

i'd really like to fix it, i dont like the idea of parting these cars. it definitely is still an option depending on what i find once i get into it though. i'm a little nervous, it is pretty rough.

also thought about selling/trading. i got a good deal on it, so im pretty much open to anything.

well it runs and drives. the brakes are trash, the rotors are pretty corroded since its been sitting. exhaust is garbage, everything after the cat is rotting to pieces. there's something fishy going on with the instrument cluster, nothing works right. seems like the engine and trans are in good shape. it doesnt run quite right, but that could very well be the old fuel or boost/vac leaks etc. still not sure if i should sell it whole or part it out. either way i dont think im gonna keep it. id rather spend my time and money on the other bird.
