I have recently had an unsettling experience with Boport Racing Heads and am wondering if I should post it here or keep it to myself. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if the consensus is that he is honest and responsive to customer concerns. I have not had much luck with his customer service number. Should I be concerned?

He is plagued by staffing shortages and excessive work. Not many people seem to have luck getting to actually speak with Bo through his shop number. The thing is, though - if you order something from Bo, you will get it eventually. As far as I know, he has never screwed anyone over. It's just that response can be slow and wait times long. It a small business with few employees and a lot of work.

Also I know he and his receptionist have been off for a week or so. If you really need to speak with him I'd keep calling until you get a hold of him. He always takes care of his customers, just not always in the time frame they expect.

Bo has good quality products. His girl Friday is expecting and not always there. Small facility few employees, but again good work overall. Hang in there and keep trying the phone.

Update #1- I finally received everything but the camshaft sometime in late October or November. Just got off the phone with them today and the Cam should be there this week and here in TX hopefully next week. I have to admit I was getting pretty worried, 6 months is a long time to wait for a paid for part. If you can afford the delay like I can the price can't be beat, just keep that in mind.

Semper Fi to you Dan and all the other Jarheads on here.

I've heard good things about their parts and would love to have their 1.9 cam, and from what I've heard they are under staffed and overworked. Even at that, I think I would be quite upset over a 6 month wait for a paid for part. I hope they can get their customer service back up. I haven't had a chance to work with them yet, but I hope that when I do I have a good experience.

Bo just posted this on TF last night:

Hopefully they improve the customer experience this year. I've never had any issues with getting in touch with Bo or getting parts in a timely fashion, BUT I've not yet ordered a cam or had any head work done and those seem to be the problem areas at the moment.
