how much boost can I reasonably look to run on a non intercooled engine with an ihi turbo? this will be a daily driver with occasional trips to the drag strip. this is a question for a friend so any help from you guys would help out alot. he's as lost as I am.

I would limit to 13-14 psi, but progress up to that point slowly and listen for detonation.

Just a quick question to respond to your question. IHI's only came on the 87-88 Tbirds. They only came with an intercooler. now if your running a custom setup without an intercooler and an ihi turbo i wouldnt go past 12 psi. But if its a factory non intercooler car then its got a t3 and you could run 14-15psi.
