alright i got my manual boost bleed valve set up and with it closed to about 4- or 5 clicks the boost just keeps climbing. anymore open and it runs 10 pounds. is my unit defective possibly?

What kind is it? Are you sure it's installed correctly? Is everything clean on the inside?

a cheaper ebay bleed valve and yes it comes off the tree into the bov and then to the wga

Just to make sure you mean boost valve and not bov right? Your other thread has the info on how to install the boost valve. If you are positive you have it installed correctly, I would try cleaning it out. Does this model have a ball and spring inside? If not I would look into getting one that does such as the gillis boost valve.
