So what kind of aftermarket boost gauges are you guys using? And, where and how did you mount it?

Autometer 2 1/16" sport comp. 0-30" vac, 0-30 psi boost. Cost is around $35 to $40 from Summit, Jegs, etc. Mine is in a dual A pillar mount along with a Autometer fuel pressure gauge.

I got an Autometer 2614 and it's mounted in an A pillar pod. Whatever you get, I recommend two things: 1. Get a combo vacuum and boost gauge. A vacuum gauge is a very handy diagnostic tool. 2. Get a boost gauge that goes to 30 psi instead of 20. you may someday want to run more than 20 psi boost.

I am using the same one Jeff just mentioned. In the pillar with an A/F gauge. It even came with little "condoms" to put over the bulb so you can match the color of the light to the stock gauges. When I installed it, I left the stocker connected, at full boost (stock) the O.E gauge was saying 15PSI, my Autometer said 11PSI. I later verified that the aftermarket gauge was dead on.

Yeah, someday when I'm out of college and can afford to run more than 20 PSI, LOL! I've still got 3 years to go, even more if I decide to do graduate work. It's kinda weird when you walk into class and all the "kids" think you the professor or the janitor. ha ha.
