Boost gauge help.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just picked up an 87 TC 5 speed and the boost gauge isn't reading. The turbo is definitely working, but the gauge isn't reading. I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find where the vacuum line that feeds the gauge is. Any help?

Welcome. The hose to the gauge connects t the back of the gauge, back of the instrument pod. Pull the pod, then trace to the firewall. Chances are the hose split, broke or cam off at the gauge

Thanks, that is what I have been looking for. I don't think that it's hooked up under the hood, I think that part of the tree is blocked off.

Ok, I found the vacuum line and it has no leaks, but the boost gauge is not moving. I put 15 PSI of air pressure on the line and it did nothing, I also put vacuum on the line and it didn't leak. Do you think the gauge is just messed up, or is there something that goes wrong with them that can be fixed?

Usually it some form of hose problem, but the gauges can go bad. Personally, I put a good aftermarket vacuum/30 psi boost gauge in mine. The stock gauges are not known for accuracy anyway and a vacuum gauge can be a handy diagnostic tool to have - win win. And you can T it off of the same hose if you want.
