i was wondering if your fule pump is not up to snuff if that would limit the amount of boost the car makes.i can get up to about 8psi then it takes forever to spool up past that
1988 5speed black every option. 3inch single turbo to tail(stinger), manual boost control. k&n cone walbro fuel pump

1986 xr4ti project car..... way to many mods to list.

sounds like an air restriction...

Maybe the VAM hose is collapsing or an exhaust restriction like the converter is plugged up.

If pump cant keep up, motor will run lean, detonate, buck, shake, etc pretty badly.
