Start here and :read: the instructions, it's well written. Also, that's not the VAM, it's the Boost Control Solenoid. The VAM is the box like piece in the air intake hose between the air cleaner and the turbo. If you purchased a Gillis valve, did the install instructions come with it?

I set mine up like this.....it's kinda weird though, getting 17psi of boost under partial throttle.....makes me wonder what kind of boost is building pre-TB.....

no instructions came with because its second hand from a buddy.
so let me get this straight you PLUG the place where the T peaice was and cap the inlet of the BCS and not the outlet and then i get the rest

Hey guys im back and i need help i set it up right but when i have the boost controller on the lowest setting it just keeps climbing with no limit. but if i turn it just a couple clicks open i only get 10 psi. before this couple click point it just climbs

Going by your pictures
You would connect 'Line C Start' to the top port on the boost valve. This is the line that goes to the wastegate. The bottom port on the boost valve needs to be connected to the vacuum tree or to your turbos compressor housing. You can do this by removing the fitting where 'Line A ends' and replacing it with a new fitting. The vacuum tree is fine and easier. You will need to cap any of the ports that no longer have hoses on them. Also just to make sure your clear on this, the valve increases boost as you screw it in and decreases when unscrewing it.
