Boiling hot coolant

If I drive my car longer than a half hour and then park it I can hear and feel the coolant in my upper radiator hose bubbling and the hose is EXTREMELY hot. I'm guessing it has something to do with my head gasket and I'm gonna replace that sometime next week over spring break but could anything else be causing it? I have my fans wired to stay on constantly so I guess thats why the car wont overheat. Thanks

If the head gasket is blown such that exhaust is leaking into the coolant, it can raise coolant temperature. What is your temp gauge saying? are you seeing air bubbles in the coolant? Losing any coolant? Getting any white smoke out the exhaust?

My temp guage reads about half way in between H and C but I was thinking the constant fan was keeping it from overheating. I am getting the white smoke out of the exhaust on start up and I've been checking my coolant level about every other day and it seems to stay constant.
