Hi everyone.
I'm nearing the completion of the restoration on my 85.I would appreciate a little advice regarding the bodyside moldings.
Any tips for installation of these? Is there a certain kind of adhesive tape? Brand? Where I can get it? Prepping the moldings? I was fortunate enough to find a complete set in nice condition.
Any input greatly appreciated. You guys have been very helpful with parts/advice with my car.

I've heard to use a 2 sided tape, but I don't know the specifics. There are a few posts on it.

I believe its 3M two sided tape. But I would just swing by a body shop and ask them what they use.

Be sure to get the 2 sided tape the correct color. What I mean is if your car is black you don't want to use white tape, believe it or not it is rather noticeable. Use to work at a GM body shop, and thats all we ever used was 3M double sided tape.
