When you replace the heater core you mentioned in you other post you will be able to replace the blower motor at the same time. See:

There may be debris down there jamming the fan. Creatures have been known to move in and build nests. Or twigs and leave can get in there. I've seen both.
Not sure on a writeup. I got a few pics of when I did one.
It's behind the dash on the passenger side You will need to remove the glove box. Press the ends in and pull back, take out some screws on the bottom, I think.

Second PICTURE: this is what you will see looking through the glove box opening.

The recirculation door is on the bottom and the bronze metal thing is the vacuum motor to control that door. The blower motor and fan are on the left side behind the vacuum motor.

Here is the motor and fan:

I don't remember how many fasteners there are holding this together.
Look up for this one:

So would I have to remove the entire box to get a nest cleared out? Could I remove a panel or some such thing on the bottom and vacuum it out?
I could hear the fan hitting paper to make a sound similar to a baseball card rattling on bicycle spokes... if that makes sense. That and I have a nasty dead mouse smell.
Any help would be appreciated (limited space and Basic hand tools available)

You probably need to take it out if you want to "deodorize" it.

Hoot... its not that hard to get out just a little snug but like pete said to deodorize you need to remove it and clean it up.
