I just bought a 88 Turbo Coupe from the auction. Fuel pump will not come on. Could just need a new which is fine. Does start with starter fluid.
First daybibtried injectors kicked in strong and now it is very faint. Battery is good.
Trying to find out what black wire with pink on it and it has a clip at the end is. It is on the steering column I can't find where it goes and what it is.
Please help

Your description is kind of vague. Any chance you can post a pic?
Considering how electrically complex these cars are, you really need the EVTM (electrical / vacuum troubleshooting manual) for your car. Check Ebay for one. Best to try to get one for your 88 TC, but an EVTM for an 87 TC would be fine. There were a few minor wiring changes between 87 and 88.
