the bird is wrecked. I was at school and a couple of friends came out and was asking how my freshly installed gillis valve was working. so we ended up going down the road pushing about 70 and we come up to a gentle curb. I geared down and slowed to about 45 and then the backend cameout. a tractor trailer coming the otherway locked up his breaks and slid to a stop and i dumped it in the ditch right beside him. I took out about 30 feet of ditch and the brush about 10 feet back. we were fine and the bird looks a little cockide. The front end is pushed to the left about an inch but the hood is still in line. The driver side door wont open because of the fender, so I dukes of hazarded it for the rest of the day. the car still drives straight and runs perfect. Im right now making arangements to have the car taken into the local tech school to be put on the rack. Which is why the word temporary is in the title. Lets just hope that the light at the end of the tunnel isnt a train.
Cross your fingers fingers and wish me luck.

Did I menchon that the road was very slightly wet? Hind-sight is a tough thing to handle.
