I needed a T3 turbo for my thunderbird(which I still do) and I ask a guy on ebay and he said he had a rebuilt direct replacement for me including both oil lines and water lines for $325. I also gave $85 for next day shipping from Ocala Florida to Kalamazoo michigan. I paid through Paypal on July 9th. Oh July 12th He said he received my payment and would ship that week sometime.

My first problem was the "ship that week sometime" when I paid for overnite shipping.

After waiting for a week I emailed him and a few days later he replied saying that He had sent it out the previous Tuesday USPS.

Unfortunately that was the last I have heard from him and today is August 15th. I now email and call him everyday hoping to get a responce at all but have not. So if anyone hears or sees anyone on ebay going by either hicdragon or aeperformance, be very careful because this could happen to you.

Anyone got any ideas?

And does anyone have a t3 for sale?

You can file a complaint with EBAY. Go to EBAY page, on top of page you'll see (services). Scroll down to (safe harbor). Click on (dispute resolutions). The online dispute resolutions page will come up. Click on (file a case), then tell them what happened. I filed a case with them before. It took a couple of weeks, but they helped me in getting my purchase. Give it a try and stop this guy from ripping off somebody else.

Do what turbojet said immediately. There is a time limit for this to happen. Ebay wants to get out of paying the safe harbor settlements. I think Papal has a fraud clause also. Contact them immediately. Paypal is owned by Ebay.

File a fraud complaint through PayPal. It won't do much good since PayPal won't do anything after 30 days, but it's your first step. After PayPal gives you their "F--- You we ain't doing nothin'" reply, then contact your credit card company and tell 'em you want to do a chargeback. You'll need the transaction number which should be on your credit card bill. You'll get your money back from your credit card company, who will then take it from PayPal. PayPal will then do an about face and decide that they can try to get their money back from the person who diddled you, but that's not your problem anymore - your credit card company will have already refunded you.

Well, I emailed him saturday night stating that I was going to file a fraud report about him and finally got a responce from him. He apologized and said "he ships dozens of turbo out each week and didnt mean to defraud me in any way and would be shipping my turbo out first thing monday morning priority mail".

I hope he comes through with it even though I paid $85 for next day shipping on July 19th!!! Yeah, thats just my luck!!!

Even better, i bought another t3 off from ebay sunday before i heard from him so now I will have 2 of them.

i was new to the ebay thing in july. I should have figured it out that with 56 feebacks and only 38 being positive that this would happen.

OH WELL!!!

I'd still be wanting a refund on that $85 he charged you for "overnight" shipping. I'd also still ile a complaint with Ebay and PayPal. He should've shipped it within 7 days of payment according to PayPal policy.

I've done a ton of business with ebay and paypal; and have been sheisted a few times. My experience is quite the opposite of the above. First off, PayPal makes you WAIT 30 days before filing a fraud complaing...just to be sure the seller had more than enough time. BUT after that, you only have an additional 30 days to file...can NOT file more than 60 days after auction close.
Ebay also has actually pulled some sellers I've complained about who had too many complaints. May people complain but don't leave negative feedback. I agree with the others to at least let Ebay and PayPal know. In the past, PayPal has deducted the money I paid for overnight from the sellers account and put it back in mine after the seller couldn't come up with an excuse.
At least try. The worst that happens is nothing..which is what's happening now.

The second turbo that I bought was for $255 or something like that. I bought it from Duane. His computer crashed last weekend and he couldnt find my address to ship it to me last week. Im not complaining, Really!!! Its just my luck on this car. I honestly am thinking about selling the whole deal and starting over with something else. Its just way too funny!!!!!
