88 TC: Gillis MBV, IHI turbo 18psi, Toyo Drag Radials, Dual Piston BOV, K&N, Cold air Induction, walboro 255 FP. I have just taken out all of the AC and lines etc.. Sway bar is still hooked up. Back actuators are unhooked on the back only (RIDE control) NO CAT, open exhaust.
I'm turning 15.4 consistantly at 89mph. 60' is 2.0 launch at 4k, R/T .026
Best time: 1/4 mile 15.2 92mph 60' 2.002
1/8 mile 9.580 73mph
I just ordered FMIC and Short TS and 3'exhaust piping from stinger (should be here soon)
Any suggestions? (tight budget suggestions for now)

Are you getting a good repeatable burnout to get som heat in the toyo's?
Pull the frt swaybar to help weight transfer a little.
Shift faster!
Maybe try adding a couple hundred rpm to the launch, and see how that effects launch/60ft.

The new exhaust should help noticeably. What kind of timing advance are you running. If your are at the stock 10* BTDC, try playing between 11 and 14* (premium gas of course) Porting the E6 exh manifold would be a good complement to the Stinger exhaust unless you are already going header.

ok sounds great! what exactly can be taken off?
AC and all of the lines is off.. no spare tire or anything like that.
i know power seats is a gimmie. but fortunately only my driver side is power. (those things alone weigh like 80 lbs with motor) would a passanger seat with no motor work in its place? theyre 35 lbs w/o motor..
any more weight reduction suggestions?

A power seat base is 23# with all 3 motors and no seat. Manual seat tracks run around 2-3# IIRC. I think passenger and driver side are different. Look for the base model birds for a non-power driver's base.

seats change and back sway bar removal.. going to light drag tires in the front.. maybe alot more.

I would leave the rear swaybar, the small additional weight is offset by the weight transfer benefit it provides.
If you can find a cheap one, throw an air spring helper in the passenger rear, or maybe a set of coilspring "helpers" on that corner?
