Who makes the best short throw shifter? I had a Hurst at one time and hated it. It was noisey and hard to adjust. Just looking for some opinions.

My vote goes for Pro 5.0 as well. It's a great product and Joe is a great guy!

Never missed a gear at the track with the stock shifter since I bought the car in 90. I can't see spending the money on one.

I put in a Steeda Tri-Ax. It is very short and shifts great. It does allow a little more noise in than the Stock one though.

I've got a Steeda Tri-ax and I love it. No missed shifts, nice firm & crisp. As far as noise, yes it's a little noisier but that's because it doesn't have that big mushy rubber bushing. If you tend to drive around with your hand on the shifter it seems to transmit more noise than if you keep your hand off it.
