Hey guys,  After years of trying to figure out a problem with my 86 thunderchicken finally figured it out . Was a bad ignition control module . Now that I got the tbird up and running again have a lot of odds and ends i want to fix. I been searching online but haven't really found a good site to find parts. Looking for anything from inside and outside trims to a radio . Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance.  Rich

Yea I keep an eye on that , sometimes it is hard to know what something might be called. Also heard to call junk yards. Well all part of the fun I guess. Thanks

if you're looking for used parts facebook groups for thunderbirds is your best bet

I've found all of my parts either here, on ebay or on facebook though Thunderbird groups or marketplace. Sometimes it takes a little while to find what you need and if you can swing it, buying a parts car isn't a bad idea.

I’ve had a search set up on eBay since 2002. I’ve gotten quite a few parts that way, but of course each year there are fewer and fewer, and more expensive.

Trim parts are hard to come by…most everything else was likely in a Mustang (84-93) and there are many suppliers for those.
Another proud dues-paying member.

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....
