If you have to have the absolute best, and have deep pockets, I agree that Koni are probably the best, but the quads are of secondary importance to the suspension, and I personally would not spend big $$ on them. I am perfectly happy with my $12 each Monroes. If you use aftermarket control arms, the quads become completely unnecessary.

Old, soft, squishy, feeble control arm bushings (uppers more so). Also a dead Quad, or shock might cause some odd things to happen as well...

I have those 12 dolllar guads i just changed so its not those. And i put brand new PRC shocks on so it must be the control arm bushings. Do any old autoparts store have them?

Yeah, I have never run them either. They're a factory band-aid there to help dampen the the fact that Ford chose to use the largest rubber bushings known to man, and the slapper bars on the early cars were too noisy. If you get some better lower arms, or install poly...you'll be negating the need for them..

Good lowers, I guess that means HPM's. They are the only ones made for our cars anymore, aren't they? I know you can run a GM "A" body upper.

Yeah Glenn..HPM is probably about it. I know that KB is going to be discontinuing the Tbird stuff..I just don't know when. If I wasn't elbow deep in this motor mount project and the IRS project for a buddy of mine, AND my own car projects, I'd look into it myself.
Anyway, I'm hyjacking the thread, so I'll stop [Image: biggrin.gif]
