Special thanks to Pete D, Jeff K, Scott, and my friend Tom for all the help.

Miracles do happen! Turns out the valves weren't bent. I got lucky on that one. In the last three nights we battled timing problems, setting the valve lash, fuel pump problems and electrical problems. Finally it runs and is ready(I hope) for the dyno. It sounds very crisp and smooth. Just need a few small minor things done tomorrow night and then it will get loaded on the trailer for Fri. morning. It was honestly one of those moments when everything just came together and fell right in place. Even the worse problem(fuel pump shutting off) was handled fairly quickly.

Thanks to everyone(except Scott [Image: wink.gif] ) for the kind and encouraging words. I really shouldn't have vented like that on here.

Numbers won't be posted till Carlisle.

Way to pull through it all, Glenn! It sure is good to have to have some helping hands and smiling faces in your corner sometimes.

Good luck at the dyno, and be sure to get us some dyno sheets (with plotted a/f!).

Fine, be that way. Give me my part back now. I need it so my car will run now.

As soon as I bolt the header on, the engine will be dropped in.

Look at my post count to yours. I think I'm getting just a little more done in the garage than you.
