The spoiler on this car...

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a87/pay...ird001.jpg

...now in my garage, appears to be installed correctly by the L/R references on the 2 tip pieces. The loggo on the spoiler is DH BUCK Co. out of Calif., now out of business. It appears they did a few spoilers for the aftermarket...still researching the company...cant get the hang of posting links...

Flip the spoilers middle section the other way and put the end peices on the opposite sides. post some pics. I still feel its backwards. Convince me

I thought so too, Chip!

But the inside of the tips are marked L & R, and the profile is different than the motorsport piece, which visually looks to be correct installed as originally pictured...

Threw me off for sure!

I refuse to believe it, because I have one. One can argue that they marked the ends wrong. I say this because if I put the wing on in the direction I prefer, the words in the center are right side up. If I flip it in that other direction, the words in the center are upside down. As you can see from my pics, when I lift it in the direction I prefer the words in the center are readable.

Second, when I place it along the body the ends follow the lines on the car, however if I place it in the direction they suggest, it follows no lines.

All I know is I'm going to install mine like I proposed, because it looks better and depending on which direction the guy at the factory was standing my "right" is correct too. LOL!!

By the way I got this primered prepped spoiler about a month ago for $17 on craigslistSmile Can you believe it said "$17 OBO"

$17!!! Thats a smokin deal!!! Center section #'s are the same sure looks to be the same as I have now. Set the spoiler center on the trunk lid both ways and you'll see the bottom profile is different. One way it matches and the other it doesnt, like concave or convexd.

Yeh, I didnt tell you guys until it was delivered to my door. Plus when I saw the asking price, I didnt want to kill the deal here in the for sale section, because THILL Seeker's deal was still a good price for an obsolete part. I just got lucky. I called the guy who lived in Roanoke Virginia and sent him a box with a return paid shipping label. All he had to do was drop it in and ship. I'm sure if I would have said something someone in Virginia would have offered him more, and I wouldnt blame them either. LOL!!
