Ok, it says in the instructions there will never be a setup without a single jumper being used. But I read through the instructions and couldn't see anything I'd need to install a jumper for. Am I missing something?
Also, anyone running an Innovate wide band, how did you go about hooking the signal up to the ECU? I have always soldered the output from the wideband to the required PIN on the ECU but since this car is not mine I really hate cutting wires on the ECU harness. So has anyone ran the signal wire from the wideband out to the factory O2 sensor plug?
Lastly, this is an 88 TC, I was under the impression I wouldn't need to do anything with the IAT sensor or wiring but what I read in the instructions makes me think I have to wire the factory IAT sensor into the removed VAM wiring?

While I am not familiar with the PiMP, you should not need to install any jumpers if you ordered it with the options you wanted.
Is there not a separate wire coming out of the EEC case for WB hookup? If not, I guess they want you to do just that, run the connection to the factory O2 plug.
There are two air temp sensors on the TC. One in the VAM housing. The other is in the lower intake. The MS system I use does away with the VAM temp sensor and just uses the one in the intake.

The jumpers that you would typically install would be for injectors, ignition, and fan control at minimum.
What are you using for ignition? Stock tfi, cdi box, msd, etc? That will determine which jumper you need.
Which Innovate are you using, LM1, LC1? I ran the analog output from my LM1 to the o2 sensor pin at the harness connector.
You dont need to do anything with the IAT or VAM wiring for an 87-88tc.

I have 95lb/min Delphi low impedance injectors I'm installing.
I'll be utilizing the stock ignition with some colder plugs.
The innovate I bought for this car is the new MTX, if I remember correctly the LM1 and LC1 are just sensors, there is no gauge with them, I wanted him to have a gauge to look at without logging.
Thats good to hear about the IAT.

I can't say specifically for the pimp, but I can pass on what I did that worked for me if it helps. Typically a WB 02 is simply a 0-5V signal. If natmac3 doesn't have an easier solution, I would just find out the 0-5V signal wire that most likely is going to your gauge and tap into that wire to the pimp. That way the gauge and the pimp will read the same value. Obviously you can check this after the fact when reading the real world value (gauge vs. pimp input in the software). I did this for the stock EEC with the moates quarterhorse. I don't know the innovate WB 02 or pimp so I would look at the wiring and check with a meter but the same basic principle should apply. Also to add, my gauge had the following: WB 02 sensor, controller, gauge. The sensor wired to the controller and the controller wired to the gauge for display. I tapped into the wire between the controller and gauge. If the innovate has the controller inside the gauge? It might be more difficult?

Low-z injectors = No jumper required
TFI = jumper to the "12v" pin
Analog Output 1 from MTX goes to O2 sig wire on TC harness.
Then in TunerStudio, you'll config the injectors, calibrate for the wbO2, and set the base timing.

I use Innovate or Autometer wide band gauges because they have dedicated output wires for signal to a programmable ECU. I chose the Innovate this time because it was substantially cheaper. I really like the Innovate MTX because its completely programmable. Also thought I'd note the MTX actually uses the LM1 O2 sensor.

A little late, but I use the AEM UEGO setup. The MS setup menu includes the AEM, so you just click and burn. It also has a dedicated output for an ECM.
They run about $200 and the replacement sensors are about $50. My first sensor lasted about 3 years. I'm happy with it so far.

Yea I read that the PiMP has the same option. Only it was 3 days after I had ordered the wideband. I have no experience with AEM widebands, but I've been told they are identical to Autometers, I just have no personal experience with them.

So I installed jumpers on both the High Fan pins and the 12v pullup pins, as well as the pin set in the middle of all the injector pins that says Fan. Please let me know if I did this right or wrong.
