162,000 miles, and as far as I know theyre factory. I know they shoulda been replaced long ago...

Anyway, I would LIKE to replace the whole control arms, as the bushings are most likely no good anymore as well. Ive read that 94-98 Mustang arms are a direct replacement. Whats the difference with the 99-04 ones?

Most likely though I will only be able to replace the joints, so in that case what should I get thats fairly cheap but decent?

I was lucky enough to only be doing 15-20 through town, and the wheel didnt fall off.

Very Lucky.

You can have the bushings melted out and new ones (from PST, or Energy Suspension for instance) pressed in. I had a shop do mine, and they also checked for cracks or stress on the controll arms.

Well I went to pull it on the trailer. Started the car, turned the wheel (not smart I guess) and it fell off. Trying to rig it to get it on the trailer... trying to use our straps to basically hold it together just to get it on the trailer. Gonna pull the trailer up behind the car so I dont have to turn. If this dont work....

We might have to get a car dolly and try that...
