i got a bad vibration in the car when it hits about 55 dosnt matter what gear it is in, it used to start vibrating at about 85 and seems to be getting worse and worse doing it at 55 can someone help me i was thinkning it was the u-joints ne ideas

Ya, check the U joints. Also, have a look at the big vibration damper thingy on the tranny end of the driveshaft to be sure it isnt getting loose. How long has it been since you had your wheels balanced? Does the vibration seem to be coming from the front or rear, or both? Also, check the 12 mm bolts that hold the rear of the DS to the companion flange on the diff to be sure they are tight.

Wheel balancing (or lack there of) is what I am experiencing right now. I took the balance weights off the outside of mine to polish them and put them on the inside of the wheel. I need to get stick on weights for the outside.

I get a pretty good vibration at 80-100mph [Image: smile.gif] !

I have new U-joints so that isn't it in my case.

hey guys thanks for the help im going to check the u-joints today when i change my clutch it went out saturday night while on my way home from a wedding 5 miles from my house ouch, but i should have told you the tires are all brand new balanced and all the vibration was there before the tires got replaced so im counting on the u-joints or somehting else in the fornt end loose ill let ya know what i come up with
