Does anyone know a website where someone can get axle absorbers? I found out that Ford discontinued them and I need a pair! They're also used on Mustang GT's so I don't know why they would do that! I guess everyone knows what I'm talking about...the ones that bolt onto the axle right by the shocks, run horizontal towards the back and bolt onto the body. HELP!!!!!

Any good supply house sells them. Monroe makes a good set for about 15.00 ea. It takes about 30 minutes to replace them.

Yep,he's right, you can get them from Advance or Pep Boys or Napa or wherever, but the catch is you have to buy them for a Mustang of the same year, for some reason Advace didn't have them listed for our cars but they do for the Mustang.Maybe my MR.HELPY HELPERTON didn't know what the heck he was doing.I know,I know, hard to believe at a parts store right?HA HA AHA AHAHAH

Where exactly is Portsmouth? I'm in Lorain(near Cleveland) and Budget Auto Parts had them for under $15 a peice for Monroe. There's only one problem though... You can't slide them off the mounts in the rear. You can either use a BIG pipe wrench and twist them off or unbolt the mounts from a rusty frame. We opted for the twist off method...

It's about 2hrs. south of Columbus at the bottom of the state. You can see it on a map...you may need a magnifying glass, but it's there.

I work ata parts store so I know that they are available. I think the part number for Monroe is 32242, and Blade is right they are under $15.00 a piece. And most of the people at Advance and Auto Zone don't know what the hell they are doing. Work at AZ for 2 months couldn't stand the stupidity anymore had to quit!! And by the way were I work we still use the old fashioned books!!
