OK heres the deal, switch does not work it seems , but when you hard brake the firm light comes on and I can hear them go back to normal ride , so why cant I use the switch to get it to go and stay in the firm mode . Is there a relay somewhere for this ?? if so where is it . Thanks for any replys . DW

If the auto adjust is working, i.e. goes to firm mode when accelerating hard, then most likely you've got dirty/corroded switch contact, or a broken wire at the switch.

Agreed.... as a first try, blast the switch with contact cleaner and see if you can get it to work. If that fails, you will have to disassemble the switch and clean it internally.

Just for your info, Auto-Ride will (should) activate when a certain brake system pressure is attained (firm/hard braking), 80 mph, 0.3 lateral g', 90% throttle deflection, 10 psi of boost, or a certain steering angle.
