$2450 plus shipping and other expenses! Sounds steep to me.

Here in Connecticut, that would go for more. That is exactly what my old TC looked like, except I had blue leather seats. I would pay up to $3,500 for that car- you can always rebuild the engine. Finding a body that nice is damned tough. -Kent

It all depends on which part of the country you're in. On the upper east coast KentCT88TC would pay $3500 for that car. Out here on the west coast I wouldn't give more than $1300-$1500. They seem to be more plentiful and far less rust on the left coast. I bought my '86 with 166k but pampered all it's life with fresh paint and pristine interior for $900.

There seem to be very few '87 and '88 Turbo Coupes left in Connecticut. You very rarely see them on the road anymore. I drove 250 miles and back to get mine. I get plenty of looks with it. Do see an occasional '85 or '86 around. Maybe they all got rusted out with the salt they put down for the snow. Glad to hear they are plentiful somewhere. -Kent

They seem to be pretty rare here in MI too. I took my white '87 to the St. Ignace Cruise night a few times (1997-1999) and each time I had the only not just TC, but 80's Tbird. There used to be several on the road around here but not anymore. They've dropped out of the wheeler dealer and auto swapper too.
