Attached are pictures of my 86 TC. The picture with the bridge shows the car with a ground effects kit. The one at the body shop shows the current configuration - no ground effects. We flared the front fenders and only left the front air dam. The car looks cleaner.

I can't remember because it was so long ago. I got the kit way back in 1990. My dad worked at a Ford dealer and he ordered it for me. I do know that it was more money than the average kit at the time because it was made out of urethane and not fiberglass.

Whoa, forget the wing, I'm checkin' out those yummy cobra rims. Could you post more pics?

I am debating a 5-lug swap right now....

Those are the Ford Motorsport ground effects that were offered in their catalogs from 1987-1990. It wasn't sold as a complete kit, but instead as individual parts so you could just buy the air dam or just the rear spoiler if that was all you wanted.

There were two different front air dams, one with fog lamp openings (like what is on tcoupeturbo's car) and one without.

Here is a list of the parts:

M-17626-B621 Air Dam w/fog lamp openings.
M-17626-A621 Air Dam w/o fog lamp openings.
M-10154-A621 Driver & Pass. Side Spats
M-17836-A621 Rear Quarter Panel Spats
M-44210-A621 Rear Spoiler
M-8200-A621 Geometric Design grill

Look at the rear spoiler on James' car above, it is the Motorsport one.

Brent

Heres a few shots of my bird. Sides skirts are customized from gts. The front and rear valanece are from freedom design (discontinued) The grill is custom made fiberglass by myself and the spoiler is off a 2000 mustang. All i had to do to that is change the contour where it mounts to the trunk so it fits flush.
