Ive seen it before plenty of times on a foxbodys but that huge area between the hood and windshield makes it easy. I wanted to run a fuel pressure gauge but asides from spending like $80-$100 on a electric one when mechanical ones are half that price. Im not sure how it would look on a turbo coupe but it doesnt hurt to ask...this is what I mean..

We lack that black piece thou so was wondering if it could be done

you might be able to fabricate a pod on the hood or fender, but by the time you do all of that, you would probably be better off spending the money on a electric gauge for the inside. my 2 cents.

Yeah I figured its not really doable on our cars. Was just looking at prices for fuel pressure gauges with a electric sending unit...holy cow like $200!!! I think ill just set it with one of these sticking on the windshield and one its good ill take it out http://www.amazon.com/Actron-CP7838-Prof...sure+gauge

I have a 2 1/16 cup I've done a little looking and I think I can mount where it will clear the hood when it opens just waiting to get a gauge

Although some old muscle cars had hood tachs back in the day, to me, especially on newer cars like Foxes, that has always looked like someone decided to install a gauge, an then went full on lazy/half-@ss with it. Kind of like the people who run wires right through their door jambs, or cut a hole in their trunk floor to remove the fuel pump, instead of doing it the right/non-hack way.
