I pulled mine in the garage after winter storage to put new KYB struts on it, new front rotors, pads, and cutting the factory springs with new isolators.

New (not reman) PS rack, along with new pressure and return lines last weekend, and, of course, reset the toe in to specs. For some reason, the old rack puked out a quart of fluid during winter storage.

So I got the springs out of the front to replace the ioslators and cut the springs to give it a small drop. Both front springs were broken at about 3/4 of a coil down, was going to cut at 3/4 coil so it worked out. All going back together now. Those isolators were really corroded in their and drivers side I had to pry out with a bar. They also hold lots of moisture and crap in there as well, I bet most of our springs are busted at about the same area.

I just took my tail lights apart. Replaced a cracked passenger side lens, polished both lenses, disassembled them, cleaned, re-sealed with black RTV and put them back together.

I pulled my headlights out last week to prep them for an HID kit (one was leaking and needed to be resealed anyhow) as well as pulling out my steering column so it can be replaced. I have a custom steering set up in my car - electric power steering from a toyota prius.

I installed a Gillis boost control valve in my automatic 88 TC today. Wow! Talk about a wake up! I set the max boost at just about 18 lbs. Incredible how much these cars wake up with just a little more boost!

Be aware that the A4LD tranny is a POS and can barely handle the engines 150 Hp power output with the boost at 10 psi. Lots of 18 psi WOT runs my lead to the quick death of the A4LD, which would give you the perfect excuse to convert to a T5 Smile
