Anyone ever have a really wierd trip computer?

My clock does some strange stuff in my 85 turbo coupe. Upon key on it reads 11:11 and will move all 4 numbers about 3 times a second, so I will see 11:11 then 22:22, then 33:33 and so on. It moves quite rapidly and will only quit when you kick the key off.

I suppose I shouldn't care, as I'm gutting the car for racing, but I'm slightly interested in why it does this.

Can you post a pic? It sounds like you have a tripminder instead of a Clock. Do you have more than 3 buttons on the clock? If so, then its a tripmider & if you don't want it, I'll buy it from you.

That is a tripminder. You just ned to know how to set it.

My 1987 non-TC V6 has this and as far as I know it works. Is this swappable?
