I have been running bridgestone G009 225/60-16 for the past 26,000 miles, has been a decent tire but they have gotten flat spotted from sitting this winter in the garage.I took it for a well deserved 90 mile trip on the interstate and there was very little difference.I jacked up the front end and spun the wheels by hand and they look like footballs going around. So I am considering the new Goodyear Eagle Gt tires, any body have any comments on them?

I have a set on my car and they grip good in dry and wet. Had them for three years and put about 20k on them. No abnormal wear and I do some spirited driving whenever I get the chance. I am not a fan of goodyear tires normally but these have been good to me so far.

You might want to also consider the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. They were comparably priced to the Goodyear's when I was shopping around. Their tread look is way cool and they stick like clue on my TC. I paid $620 for all four at Discount Tire and love them. Oh and I like Goodyear tires!

Thanks for the input guys.I was considering the michelin s also, but was leaning towards the goodyear due to the fact tc came with goodyears. My neighbor owns the local tire store,so I'm going to see the price difference and go from there.Got to get them before carlisle. thanks again

Mr.gofast, that is precisely why I got the Eagle GT's. I loved the Michelin sports as they are a good tire and I had a set on my Mazda 3s. YOu can't go wrong with either one. I also got my tire at Discount after pricing around. Good luck!!

when i switch to the sn95 17in wheels i consulted my buddy kevin. he is the service manager at a goodyear. he suggested the gt's.
i was on a limited budget. so i only got the two. but they grip. 245/45/17. the rears are some cheappys and they slid. but the i grips good in the front. i love them! wish i could afford the rears!

I'm running Goodyear Assurance Tripletred on my TC.

Good wet/dry handling and I like the way the tread pattern looks on the car.
