The only thing I don't like about my TC is the interior door panel. My left knee hits the power door lock panel. I was looking at a non-turbo bird today and they have completely different doors. Seriously thinking of swapping them.

What I don't like is the fact that the Map Pockets break off and the Armrests get really loose !
Oh, not to mention the door pull strap...good luck finding these if you ever break the strap or decorative end caps.

The arm rests always break off on the Fox Tbirds, it seems. I had to fab up metal L brackets to reattach the ones on my TC. The arm rests both broke on my purchased new and ultra pampered 86 Tbird 5.0 after about 5 years, and I had to fix those too. EVERY Fox Tbird and Cougar I have seen in the JYs have the pull straps and end trim caps missing by the time I get to them.

Yes my left knee while on a road course bangs into and it actually detracts from my concentration on hard right handers. I have thought about putting foam just below while racing so that my whole leg would take the force instead of just my knee. It is a problem, and yes, they do seem to brake & pull out, although my first one (88) never did?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to yank the non-TC panels when I get a chance. They are as attractive as the TC's without the BS.

Yes, that's the only thing I hate about my 88 TC. My 83 had flat door panels that gave me more interior space. My 88 driver's door panel digs into my knee so hard when I autocross, I can hardly walk at the end of the day.
