ONLY high quality (CP, etc) forged pistons for any turbo engine, especially if running higher boost than stock.

Well, I decided to try working on the T-bird and when I hooked my battery back up, the windows wouldn't work. I swapped up the fuse for the windows and it still didn't work. Need to get a test light because they were working before and now they're not. Plus, I was getting a continuous "over-boost buzzer" when key was to run. It seem to stop, however, there are no display lights that come on when I turn the key to "run". So now I have a few anomalies that have popped up.

Are you sure the battery is good? It sounds like you have a few too many issues going on at once. Maybe put it on a charger or a start booster to see what it does. I had my overboost buzzer go on intermittently when it got wet, I disconnected the harness, and di-electric greased the connector, good since. It is located pass side fender well back near the A/C condenser.

Overboost buzzer randomly going off especially if it gets wet is a known issue. I disconnected mine 20 years ago and used the CHECK TURBO idiot light on the dash for another function.

If the car has been sitting for quite a while, window motor brushes may have some corrosion / oxidation preventing good contact with the motors armature, or window switch contacts may have oxidation / corrosion on them. You should check for power at the window switches first before checking at the motors. Pull the door panels, which you will need to do anyway to check to see if the motors are getting power, and with the window switch activated (assuming they check out OK), give the motor a good rap with a small hammer, wrench, etc and see if the window goes down.

Any chance critters got into the wiring and chewed something up?
