AFAIK, with both of my birds (87-88TCs) I little low will make the red "BRAKE" light come on, but if it gets REALLY LOW, the ABS light will come on also.
All hail Project "Marauder" !

You are likely correct, JT.... havent had to troubleshoot the ABS system for a few years (with the exception of rabbits chewing thru one of the ABS sensor cables last winter, which was an obvious problem), so I was working on my (often flawed) memory. As we all know, even if a code is set, proper diagnostics would lead to the actual problem of the fliud level sensor inop, pressure switch inop, relay or motor inop, and not the classic "we have a code, so replace the MC" shotgun approach to repair. Just like the classic OBDII Ford CEL I see often enough.... CEL on, Owner takes car to Auto Zone, who scans codes, gets a P0401 / P0402, and sells the poor guy an EGR valve, when the actual problem is a bad DPFE.
