i have the unfortunate obligation to report that yet another turboford has died...(insert rendition of "Taps" here)

my beloved 88TC was the victim of a rolling stop. I was coming up on an intersection and this white topaz rolled through the stop sign and right into the middle of the road in front of me. i turned into the other lane in an attempt to avoid them...but alas the driver accelerated in an attempt to beat me out and we ended up smashing right into each other, thank God no one was hurt. Laura(the car, not the girlfriend) however has a totally smashed front end. the passenger side is pretty much history. but nothing in the engine bay was touched, the impact was all absorbed by the passenger side fenger and front bumber, so the radiator and everything is still fine. so i'll fortunately have lots of spare parts. its just a sad day, i'm home from school for easter and this was the last thing i needed to happen. but i know there are plenty other ones out there. so if anyone has any nice low milage TC's in the PA area for sale let me know, cause i want....no, not want....NEED another one. i have to fill this addiction

so my car won't be joining the ranks at carlisle this year. but i'm crossing my fingers that i find another one by then...

Look at the one Zero Rain showed on eBay, that is one CLEAN looking car. It is in Oh.

His post is in General discussion, header says "ebay helps for a first"

So there appears to be no damage to the frame at all, its just body? If so contact me if you want to sell and a price. If you decide to sell, I would really appreciate some pics of the accident so that I dont ride all the way up there without at least knowing somewhat what to expect. Im right outside Philly, let me know if you want to sell. thanks

i'm not too sure what will happen at this point...its borderline as to what the insurance company decides to fix or total her. there is enough damage that it might be totaled, but not enough that it can't be fixed. so i'll see how things turn out in the next few weeks. i have all the parts i need to fix her except a header panel. i've got all the sheet metal and so forth, so it wouldn't be too bad. but like i said i think i'll have to wait and see how things turn out.

Thanks

Artty
