Alright, I give up (dyno #'s)

Every since I got back from Carlisle, I've been getting emails for a copy of my dyno sheet.

As you can tell by the a/f it's got a lot left in it up top. I was surprised that it made that so easily. We only did 3 pulls. I'm going to break the motor in some more and go back for some more tuning and maybe try the nitrous out too.

425 HP and you'll be my hero for life!

Firstly, congratulations on those numbers. They're awfully impressive for such little boost and relatively conservative timing. You could build a house on that torque curve (though the a/f curve might be better suited to a dirtbike track [Image: wink.gif]) Why didn't you crank the boost up another 3-4psi and break the 400rwhp barrier?

Secondly, it's people like you that make me absolutely hate my car.

I can't even drive my car at 19psi of boost anymore because it feels so terribly slow. It might be putting 240hp to the wheels at the most at that boost level, and I'm running about 21degrees total timing with my tuner.

Let's get this Cecil County thing planned out so you and glenn can take a look at my car and figure out wtf is wrong with it.

Thanks for the compliants everyone.

I can't wait Dan. You should have taken the offer on Sunday.

Steve, I didn't crank on it any harder because it was a brand new motor and as long as it broke 350rwhp I was pleased. The a/f looked a lot better on the 15psi run (338rwhp), but went rich on the 19 because of the tune. We could have leaned it out, but I called it quits for the day. Next time I might bump the timing a little, lean it out, and run it out higher. Should be an easy 400rwhp with less than 20psi. At anyrate, I might hit Cecil County this Friday. I've got the driveshaft loop in it now and I just need to do some little odds and ends to be completely ready.

Mods:
Throw together shortblock with .20 over TRW's
Esslinger steel head with .585 solid roller cam, big valves, ported
ported lower, custom upper
60mm throttle body
ATR header, ATR downpipe with Tial 38mm wastegate
.60 trim turbo, .63 stage 3
TC intercooler converted to air/water, 3" outlet
75pph injectors
SDS system

That's about all that's note worthy off the top of my head.

Ok, well if you still have intentions of going by Thursday night / Friday morning, shoot me an email at [email protected] and let me know. I can leave work early on Friday's and get there by 6pm.
