I know there was plenty I wanted to do more but I am way over my time and $ budget for this tear down. I plan on replacing a lot of parts on the engine down the road (Valve cover, cut/weld intake, alum. waterpump, etc) so I didn't want to spend extra time painting the ones I had. As far as painting the block goes I guess that was laziness :p When I have my next head setup I'll pull her out again and spray her that round.

Another proud dues-paying member.

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....
