Just out of curosity, will it hurt to leave off the A/C belt? I paid a fortune for it and my car hasnt had freon in it for about 5 or 6 years, All I can see that it does is rob power from the Water pump. Whats you opinions?

If you're not going to use it, just take it and all it's bullshit (like the condenser and lines to the firewall, brackets and such)

You'll save 35 pounds or so. I deleted mine because I used it twice in 5-6 years.

It's loud enough that you won't want to get on it, or go above about 3k rpm when any cops are around, but I've passed dozens now and not gotten a second look while driving like a sane person. Then again, I've gotten quite a few looks from other people when I do get on it, and above about 4500 rpm it gets far too much attention.

It's considerably quieter than any other non-mufflered car I've ever seen, quiet enough that I've decided to run 3" from the downpipe to just in front of the drivers side rear wheel and just dump it there, no muffler, no cat, just enough pipe to get it there.

I wouldn't think twice about driving it home like that, I've driven past the county seat court house here at least two dozen times, and even into their parking lot (where the cops park too) to pick up stickers for mom's tags with just the DP -- never got a 2nd look.
