Is there a lighter stock replacement A Arm for an 86 TC that will come with correct length ball joints, new bushings, and spring pirch. (I am using lowering springs so it will need a spring pirch)

Looking for something cost effective

FMS M-3075-A are about the only things you'll find other than tubular A arms. Stock A arm with upgraded bushings and ball joints (per Ford).

Summit has them, $300/pr.

Robert, are the ball joint long enough for our cars or will I have to reoplace them with Thunderbvird specific units. I have heard that when going to tubular A Arms that its a must to install Tbird specific ball joints because the ball joint pins are to short.

The ball joints are exactly the same for the '86 TC. The A-arms I listed are not for 87-88. That is the replacement arm(s) for the '86. I laid them side by side with my old ones and the ball joints and length and everything else were exact as far as I could measure.

See Chuck W's answer to this same question on the Foxtbirdcougar forum. These are the Fox Mustang A-arms.
