DOes anyone out there have aftermarket 16" rims on their bird, and if so where did you get them. I'm looking for any good websites also. I've been trying to get OEM snowflakes for a while and they are either in terrible condition or just tooooo much! I'm looking to spend around $400-$500 for a set...thats about average price.

Good Luck, every place I've been, on the web, or In NJ has quoted me prices ranging from $800.00 to over a 1k, per set. Its the bolt pattern. I just decided to try to shine mine (see Dan E's car) and hope for the best.

I doubt you will find anything new that fits for $400-500 hundred, used maybe.
ROH http://www.rohwheels.com/ has a couple styles that fit our 4 lug like the ROH ZS. I don't know what other style will.
Here's a site with pics/prices of the ROH's (don't know anything about this places though) http://www.jdwheels.com/roh.htm
American Racing has two styles available for our application. http://www.americanracing.com/applicatio...D&car=380_
Centerline http://centerlinewheels.com/ and Weld Racing have one or two available as well, but I don't recall which style.

I got my polished Cobra R replicas from Performance Wheel Outlet for about $620. CHeck out www.performancewheeloutlet.com , or give them a call.. they run ads in all the Ford car mags, like MMFF, 5.0 Mustang, etc.

As far as I know, all 4-lug Mustang applications will work, until you start getting into a roughly 17x9 size (will hit inner fender when turning sharp). You might try an old set of Mustang Pony wheels... [Image: wink.gif]

I hope they turn out alright for you, I would kill for a set of old Cragar's slots, nothing fancy, I'm a product of the 70's obviously, and I always thought they had just a in your face ballsy, yet classy look to them.

They have reman snowflake wheels in your price range !!
The sites kinda tricky, if the link doesn't go to the page directly, It will say denied, wait 5 seconds and let the site reload. Then type in thunderbird, choose replica. Then it will come up 0 found. Type in thunderbird again and just hit search it should come up.

GREAT site! Thanks for the link to that. I see they also have the Cobra "R" style wheel in 4 and 5 lug. Good site to bookmark.
