i purchased some aftermarket gauges & pillar pod, the boost gauge is no problem but how do i hook up the oil pressue and water temp to our cars ??

Are your gauges electric or mechanical? If electric...they should have come with the sending units, if mechanical, runt the lines up through the fire wall and protected by a rubber grommet and the buy the fittings for an oil gallery and water jacket and hook things up.
Back lighting can be run off of the original dash light circuit so that you can have the dimming option.

oil pressure on my car is hooked up by unscrewing the sending unit bell and putting a T fitting between them then run a copper line to the gauge, i would never use the nylon line they give u i had it split open on my once while driving my sho its pretty painfull.
